  Clio Mk2 Phase 1
Just seen a set of pre-sanded alloys on Gumtree. This is what the ad says;

Original Clio Cup alloys x4

Alloys come with two tyre both have a few mm in tread picture 3

Alloys where purchased by myself on behalf of my brother for his girls car she has decided to opt for a larger alloy so alloys are here for sale and open to sensible offers

Alloys have been sanded down and prepared for painting by previous owner he's done a good job original colour was anthracite nice colour but as there sanded down could be sprayed any colour paint and laquer can be bought from halfords for a minimal amount

If alloys dont sell I will spray them myself then sell them any questions just ask good straight alloys centre plates to cover wheel nuts are here but centre caps are missing cost 13.95 set on ebay buy it now price

These are the alloys;

Just wondering for a start if they are actually genuine Clio alloys.

Also because they're pre-sanded is the next steps just prime -> paint -> lacquer?

not sure about being genuine cup, i thought cup alloys had 8 holes rather than 4, im probably wrong though, they will look great either way, what colour you planning on spraying them?

the prime paint laquer sounds about rights, i'd still go over them with a fine wet and dry though just to make sure, just make sure you prime paint and laquer plentiful times

Yeah from what I've read on here they aint genuine (reading through Edd's thread).

Texted asking the guy for pictures of Renault / O.Z marking on the spokes or the such. Still, good enough deal for them I'll throw him £65-£70 because there not genuine.

Thinking on a nice bright silver colour, don't feel anthra would suit on my Ph1 anyways.
