Hi there,
I’m Cris, I’m 38 years old and live in Portugal, two weeks ago I bought a Clio 16v with lots of small things to do
it was kind of a barn find. It has around 62000 miles on the clock and it was on a garage for 10 years.
My idea is to keep it as original as possible. They are not many in Portugal and I am sure it will be a classic in the future.
Till now I have done the following:
New belts and water pump ( it had still the original ones)
Oil and all filters
New radiator
New battery
New brake pads
New interior center vents
Isolation of sunroof frame( was leaking)
Brakes fluid?!
It was missing two Taurus center caps ( now I have 7( also a barn find of 5)
Set of 4 new tires (it had 2006 tires)
The next steps are finding new bumpers(they are not broke, just all painted in car color),gearbox oil change and spark plugs.
My goal is as I said to certified the Clio in the summer as a pre-classic.
I’m here to help and learn from you guys.
