Hi guys. I need a set of alloy spigot rings for my 182/OZ Superturismo's. (60.1 - 68.) There are loads of places offering them in plastic/rubber but I need them for track use. Any ideas?
TIA

Made a big difference for me when I couldn't get my evo wheels to stop wobbling on my ep3.

Guessing metal ones wont melt either on track

I had plastic ones that lasted one track day and decided to melt to the hub and I then couldn't get road wheels back on to drive home...

Try eBay. There were loads on there when I picked up an alloy set a while ago. Cheap too, only paid about a tenner IIRC.

Looks like you will have to go with plasitc rings as there's no aftermarket metal ones out there in these sizes. You could try contacting OZ directly as I know my OZ's on the MR2 came with factory fit alloy rings as they are OZ stamped.

Yes, because of the heat. The constant working temp on any of the 'plastic' ones I've seen is given at circa 140 degrees.

...and like Sburrell, I'd like to get home with wheels/tyres that hadn't been shagged to within an inch of their lives. 200 miles.

Seriously tho, I've been all over ebay, amazon etc, tried loads of specialists, and all I'm being offered is 'plastic'.

Thanks JB, problem is track day is next Monday (Croft) which means I'd need to have then for Sat latest. OZ are notorious for taking forever for bit's'n'bobs.

@perazzi Did you ever find some metal spigot rings? I've been looking for some 67 to 60.1 but both the versions I've tried so far have been too deep for my OZ wheels.

No, I didn't. I bought some plastic ones and took a set of road wheels as well.

They did the job and didn't melt.
(pretty shagged now right enough!)
