Hi,
As I have a friend with a NA Miata and he was looking for a big brake kit, I've seen they also provide that kit with the Clio 197 calipers and 280mm discs.
Nice thing is that the discs they sell are re-drilled 280x28mm thick discs from a Nissan Almera Tino which is 5x114,3 as standard.
I studied the dimensions of these discs and the std clio 280x24mm units and the nissan ones are very close, you only need some spigot rings for the center bore which is 68mm for the nissan units, and maybe a washer between the hub and the caliper adapter as these discs are slightly inboard vs the clio units (2,6mm inboard sits the centerline of the disc if you study the tech drawings which is nice- the caliper will have better clearence to the rim also)
Nice thing is that they are 28mm thick and are better suited for the brembo caliper and theoretically have better heat management.
Here is the link where you cand buy them separate from the whole miata brake kit (they are already drilled to 4x100, you only need some rings to reduce from 68 to 61mm center bore)
freakyparts.co.uk
They also have a decent price and you can choose wether plain drilled etc.
Bellow I attached the technical drawings from the brembo parts website in which you can see the size differences and can make an accurate idea of what there is to do if you decide to buy the discs yourself and have them re-drilled after:

Sorry if that has been covered before
Cheers
