alloy wheel rim repair medium...

Car  CLIO Iceberg 172
as the title, im going to be refurbing my alloys due to the massive ab=mount of curbing they have taken when i first got the car and was getting used to the width when parking,

so what would be the best product to use to rebuild the rim of the standard 172 alloy,
im going to use normal filler for any scratchs on the face but i figured i might need something a bit stronger for the rim to stop it just all chipping out and undoing all my work the first breath near somthing...

loads of you guys have already refurbed so meny wheels, so what have you guys used?

cheers
Dave

I was going to use knifing putty from halfords, a few people i have spoken to have said its quite a decent product, think they sell it for about £10
