alloy wheels newbie

  R35 GTR

I havent stuck any alloys on my car before, what numbers do I have to use and what do I need. So far I have seen that I need to know the offset/PCD.

I wanna stick 17s on a 2001 1.2 clio grande,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, whats the best insurer for a 1yearNCD and alloys, tints?

why dont you just go for 16s or even 15s mate? 17s will make your car slower? Ive got a 1.4 Alize and have just gone for 15" Dynamique wheels.

Try out elephant.co.uk for insurance - I got a good quote from them

17s make the car slower, handle like a sack of sh*t, and you feel every bump in the road. But they look GOOD! Love mine, but never again!

i live in quite an unmade area and only notice it a bit with the 17s on tbh.

noticed a little bit of slow down but its still fine (1.6).

if you want it for looks go for the 16s or 17s but for the performance person go for 15s

ye, 17s do seem to slow your car down if u have a low powered engine. they look quality tho on clios! why not go for a mix of performance/looks with turinis? quite common tho. everyone seems to be doing it! good reason tho....
