Alloys for dummies! help needed

Hi, Can anybody tell me if 205/50/16 wheels will fit a MK1 PH3 clio RT.

thats the tyre size, whats the offset/pcd of the alloy?

I know the alloys will phyisically fit the car, but i dont know if the tyres will rub ect. they are 16" and tyre sizes above

you would be better with 195/45/16 tyres
