2001 Clio 1.2 Dynamique
i got some alloys that are black (painted by previous owner), but they are not in good condition atm, im going to refurb them and either going to do 1 of the following and was after some advice:
1. respray them black - to do this would i have to strip off the black, then rub down/fill/rub down, prime, paint, lacquer etc Or just rub them down as they are, fill/rub, prime, paint, lacquer (just over the old black).
2. take them back to their original colour - is it possible to strip the black....will this take off the finish the alloy came with from new aswel? they will need a refurb aswel so if i go this route, should i just strip them, fill/rub, paint with a suitable colour match then lacquer.
do big alloy companies like wolfrace, tsw etc sell their paint......help appreciated....will try get sum pics up soon.
