Alpine CDM-9825RB Headunit, Stalk and display help

I'm thinking about purchasing these:

I was just wondering if the dash display would work with my headunit and is it just a case of plug in and off we go? Or will the dash have to come off?

The unit is a Alpine CDM-9825RB.

even though he has stated that it will do display it wont,alpine do the leads at a cost of approx 80 but you wont get them direct

Now that we are on this, tomorrow I'll install a new DVD headunit to my Clio, AVH-P5950DVD, what leads do I need to retain the stalk control and regain the upper display that was lost when they installed the current DEH-2950MPA unit on the dealer?

you cannot keep display with pioneer,stalks can though,i sell them at a cost of £33 delivered and are plug and play
