Alpine iPod connection

Ive got a xda-x100 headubit and the iPod lead that can with it all the wires have frayed and it says current error and no other iPod leads will work with the headunit beacuse when I try it then says USB device error. Has anyone else had trouble with there leads and what did you do.

havin the same problem and my lead seems to be fine ? mine connects to the ipod but wont play the music grrrr help !

What kind of Ipod's are you both trying to connect?

I've had the exact problem i think, where it just crashed my ipod. I've just lived with it, doesn't do it as often as it did when i had it in my Clio.
