Alpine speakers in a 172

I'm tempted on getting high quality direct fit speakers front and rear in my car, one of the lads Carl on here has got x series in his he said that he had to modify to get them in to fit i think it was to do with the depth of the magnet, but i don't want to modify them what high spec 13cm speakers can i put in without mody? any help please
