Alpine stalk adapter

Ive installed an alpine head unit into my clio and have purchased a ateering stalk adapter to retain my steering controls, as recommended by motor world (the alpine model). unfortunately i have no idea how to fit it, the motorworld guy told me that the stalk adapter as i do not have a screen in the car plugs in right at the top of the dash where there is an iso plug. Is he right? Should i take it to an ICE specialist to get fitted properly? please help!!

as far as im aware a fair bit of the dash has to come off to fit it properly.....

went 2 car audio 2day and im getting it fitted on saturday 4 45quid if anyone was interested. i cant be bothered with the hassle. cheerz 4 the advice brun
