Alpine stalk & display conrols

should be. The local Renault garage was particularly useless so I got an ICE installer to sort the problem.....it hadn't been plugged in.
not that the lead wasn't connected, but because it's one of those 3-bit jack-plug leads it needed to be plugged FULLY in, instead of just "normally" in.
On a couple of long runs on the motorway I've noticed that
- Even it the stalks work fine one minute, they'll totally stop again at any time.
- If the stalks aren't working then sometimes a sharp whack on the side of the steering wheel can bring them back to life...although I dont like the idea of this.
