Alpine X305 installation help please

Hi,

I'm trying to get the stalk controls working on this head unit, I have the stalk adaptor and this plugs into it

But I'm not sure where to plug the other end in, there are four cables coming out of the headunit which are supposedly for the remote control. But they have clear rubber ends to plug in another rubber ended cable (so they stick together) Nothing that I can plug in a 3.5mm jack plug.

Any ideas?

What are srn003 and srn005?

I have

I phoned Alpine this morning, they told me I can plug it in next in the socket next to the RCA sockets.

It appears to be the only option, and I did try it before, but I'll give it a go - i think I know what I did wrong last time.

I've got the stalk adaptors connected, but I can't program in the buttons. Has anyone done this before?
