can you give me some of your recommendations on the best alpine head units?

I was looking at the ida-x001 HU but im wanting the quad illuminations so its display will match the renaults amber lighting...I dont think this model has this feature like the others

I've got that unit and I would only get this if you have an amp due to it's lack of options like bass engine. Also i've noticed a few niggles with it, so it might be worth waiting a bit.
