Alternative Mail Client

Want something of Outlook quality which is very robust to cope with IMAP client with HUGE inbox (mine).

Help!

Looking for recommendations on what people use, not what you found in a quick google search. I can do that myself. I need real life experience.

I use Thunderbird from Mozilla. Seems to do everything i need email wise, copes fine with large IMAP accounts ok, and makes a nice pairing with Firefox. Also like firefox has extensions and themes you can download.

It doesnt do calendar and scheduling stuff like outlook though, it more like outlook express without the security holes :)

You can get the Calendar extension (Lightning) for Thunderbird - so it does.. I use it cus' it's proper iCal standard so they are stored on my webdav server.

Yep, it's quite nice.. altho, needs a bit of fine tuning I think until it becomes as useful as Outlook etc..
