alternator charging at 25volts?

anyone seen or heard of rhis before? its made the car act very strange. have a look at the symptoms. I hope its not fried the electrics bu im replacing the alternator this week :dapprove:

The regulator inside the alternator has given up. Seen it happen a few times. New alternator time

Yea, but 25volts??? Thats pretty crazy. Have you seen it that high? Did it fry any electrics? Just getting the alternator on now. Im worried about the loom.
