You'll not get any help with that attitude son You only posted less than an hour in one of the quietest forums on CS.

I picked mine up earlier today. The alternator burnt out last week. They didnt show me how much it would have cost as they are paying for it, but IIRC you have to have the aux belt replaced at the same time. If nobody answered your question I'll post up when I have the invoice as they needed it to claim, but are forwarding it to me for my records.

I'd expect it to be a couple of hundred. Yes, apparently its a total pig. Front end off the car job.

Cheers m8, it worked got a replie quicker lol just a bit stressed thought i had my car fixed about a month ago put a new battery on it and it fix it well for about 3 weeks now back to the same so thinking its the altonator

fooking hell thats steep plus fitting looking at about 400+ french cars are false econamy lol cheep to buy but the money you save you waste on getting them fixed every few months :dapprove: i could of had a fooking lambo with the money i have spent on repares over the last 4 years lol

you should feel lucky,mine had an alternator replaced in 2004 and the cost of that and a small service @ renault was £850 quid! lucky i didnt pay for that
