Its much nicer to drive to work than the 182. All that stop start in traffic is much easier in a 1.2.

what you want is one with a handicapped (auto) box. i love driving them in traffic so much less hassle than being on and off the clutch in and out of neutral 1st and 2nd.

Because they idle so slow you can just leave it in first and crawl along in traffic.

I had an Auto Audi 80 estate once, cost a fortune in petrol.

i almost went for an automatic for the same reason - stop starting in traffic but well gsis didnt come with an auto box

Yeah, its getting the exhaust sorted again. Figured it was best to let them have it all day so they can be sure its 100% right. I pointed out they could compare it to the one in the showroom to make sure its correctly fitted. lol

you can do that in the 172 in 1st,2nd,3rd its renos anti stall feature..

ohh and autos drink fuel but i like them.

Yeah but in a 172/182 the idle speed is higher so you keep catching the car in front forcing you to clutch in again. The 1.2 idles slower.

My 172 stalled quite easily. lol

its good for economy i cruise along the motorway in 3rd with my foot off its like a basic cruise control

My Cup did ,but since fitting the ITG Panel its been miles better.

I see you dont go to as much effort parking that. Your 182 is usually parked about 1 inch from the metal columns to avoid parking dents isnt it? lol

Im from Cannock mate. The courtesy car is from Renault Sutton Park, but my 182 came from Renault Brum. I got BP04 on mine not BJ.

I had a naples red clio once though I prefer blue now.

I found when I had a 1.2 as a hire car, that it was just embarrassing at the lights as it had zilch acceleration...
