... torque steer?

I've been known to double back and try a stretch a second time just to feel the little b***ard writhe in my hands. Love it :D

I'm curious...odd or not?

i dont like it but i dont hate it, i am not really botherd about it until some passenger is asking me why the car does that when im gunning for it only because i can not be botherd to explain.

I've not really experienced it since the first week of owning the car.

I think you get used to it and then use the power accordingly.

I used to enjoy it in the 182 Cup.

No such thing these days, just Vorsprung durch Technik mit Quattro.

You need to drive it harder ;)

I agree with you Mark - it is some kind of perverse pleasure having to wrestle the wheel a little. Can be a little scary if it takes you by surprise though....

no, you're not

i love it. nailing it out of an off camber bend:evil:

can be a bit unnerving on rutted or tramlined roads though!

I like it sometimes because it means there's some power there! But it does scare me sometimes! I don't often get to drive it hard enough to test it out though.

The only time I dislike it is when there are tramlines in the road. Rather than being predictable it can take me by surprise, especially when it seriously pulls you accross the road towards the curb!

I like torque steer too, so did my brother who experienced it for the first time when I let him drive my car the other day. Had to explain to him what it was lol.

Although I have gotten pretty used to it now, but it still tries to pull me to the left on booting hard.

If you take your hands off the wheel and plant your foot (from a standing start) the car would go off track (as in, it won't stay in a straight line) due to the torque steering the car. Typically you fight with the steering wheel to stay in straight line....
