just bought a 57i kit for my phase 2 172, on the box it says clio 172/182 but i cant seem to get the filter to join the intake pipe. it there something missing or am i just having another stupid day?

mine came with a small piece of tube 2 jublie clips. and a bracket to hold the filter in.

yea thant what ive got small steel tube rubber tube and jubilee clip & bracket!

You'll find it runs more sluggish with that kit, open cone filters suffer badly from heat soak on the clios, itl sound good but wont run that well.

finally stop being retarded and it fits fine. didnt realise the small metal ring was the connector not a pipe stiffener. lol
