Looking at getting one of these for the mrs for christmas. Has anyone got one yet? They seem good value for what they are

Look good.

I guess if you enjoy reading, basic web browsing, emailing etc then this is the tablet for you.

Cheap as chips and comes with hdmi connectivity.

Screen is supposed to be great too.

I've heard it's very limited from a customisation perspective.

I know they are in competition with Google but it's annoying not being allowed to access the Play store as I have loads of stuff I've downloaded from there. That is putting me off getting one.

Looks a good device, but way too locked down. Android without freedom is a bit WTF
