Thermal camera

I like the idea of owning a thermal camera, looking at stuff round the house and when I go camping.

But bit of a mine field, anyone got one?

Im thinking usb c to plug into my phone might be a good way to go

Yeah have access to a cheapy one on amazon. It's OK but think the Chinese ones have a low resolution which doesn't help for certain applications

I've wanted for a while to go around the house looking for draughts and areas than need insulating. Octopus energy used to loan the cameras out but every time i check the scheme is full booked (they probably only have one camera ).

@MLB what is the one you've got like for detecting cold spots around doors/windows etc. They are around £100 from hire for the day but if that one is £120 I think I'd rather just buy one then sell it when I'm done with it.
