amp help pls!!!

Hi guys,

just wondering what the best way to secure an amp in the boot is? I want a neat good looking installation ect. instructions and pics would be very welcome.

build yourself an mdf false floor, then cut a hole and sink the amp into it...or just screw it to the mdf.

or jus screw it to the back of the seat, simple if u cant be bothered wit the mdf option

but the mdf looks alot better he is looking for a neat install.

would it be better if i remove the carpet lay the flase floor and use the old carpet to cover? how thick do you wroken the mdf should be will 10 mm be strong enough? are stilits a no no?

just buy some acoustic carpet and use the spray glue and then cover your mdf.

mine is on stilts, 6 wooden blocks. thats all i use to keep my floor in the boot and it sits very tight

but does it take large loads?, how thick is you mdf??



whats the best way to make a patern for a false foor?

cant remember how thick i used tbh, sorry do a search on false floor.

you can use the carpet thats in the clio, then do some guess work for the inserts either side of it. not as easy as other cars, but you get their in the end
