amp power cable

hi just wondering if any one could answer my question as i have a bit of a problem routing the power cable for my amp.
lots of mates have told me that there should be a closed rubber grommet in the engine bay near the battery for me to feed the cable through into the car from the battery. however been searching for it all morning and have had no luck at all, i have a 53 clio 1.2 billabong. would be greatful if anyone knows where 2 find as don't really want to drill a hole.

trace the bonnet release cable back from the bonnet latch and you'll find it

Stick your head in the passenger footwell and look up towards the top/front of the car and you'll see it.

In the engine bay, sort of directly level with the battery but on the bulkhead a little way down, it's a bit fiddly to get to.

cheers for that guys, found it ok only have 1 problem the rubber is closed around the bonnet release cable so no room for another cable to be fed through any ideas how to overcome the problem without disconnecting the bonnet latch cable.

It will fit through, u have to take the grommet out and cut another hole in it.

you dont neceseraly have tyo cut a hole just take the grommit out (takes a while n hurts ur fingers s**t loads) and then push it back in as much as u can thats ill i did. easy done when i did it.

i have a similar problem. have managed to get the cable through the grommet hole and firewall. just can't find it or get my hands to it by the coolent?! can any1 help?

its down the back behind the sound deadening , take the coolant bottle off
