Sounds like your RCAs are picking up interference from a power cable somewhere. Best bet is to strip out the interior and run the cables under the carpet rather than down the sides if you want to get rid of all interference in the signal.

sounds to me ore like a poor earth connection, you wanna get a sturdy bolt connection, like the seat belt one, rather than drill a small hole, not usually sufficient, oh and make sure both amps are earthed to the same point, cheers

Think you can fix this with a ground loop isolator? google it!! i had the same problem in my car but since i uprated the power cables it seems to be ok. I also used to get a squeeling noise due to a lack of power, to fix this i needed to run a better earth from the battery to the car body, and from the altenator. Try the ground loop tho mate...

You can fix this with a ground loop isolator but youre better off checking the earth and re running the cables.

i already have the rca cables on the opposite side to the power cables. i earthed my amp to the bolt in the boot, what the seats are bolted to. i think i might try a ground loop isloator, where do i get one from and how much ?

i have 1 earth for 2 amps, same with power from the battery. is it series they call it ?
