Amplifier overload problem!

Hey guys,
basically I'm running a 4 channel amp and this is powering my 12" Alpine Type R and 2 6x9s. Everytime I turn my headunit volume up to about 7 or 8 my amp would just go into protection mode. Ive been told that my amp is being overloaded and ive already blown two Fli's 900s :dapprove:. Oh and also Ive noticed i get very bad interference!
What should I do to solve this issue?

How are they wired in? Ive got a 15" audiobahn sub and 2 6x9's powered by mine. I blew my last FLI 900 too but this mutant one has been fine for months and thats with it at volume 40 odd.

If your getting interference it sounds like your power,remote and RCA cables are all running down the same side of the car? be sure to insulate wires going into the amp too, I found some of mine would touch while driving so ive electrical taped them all the way up to the screw point in the amp so theres no chance of them touching another one.

Well Ive got my sub running off two channels, so channel 1 and 2 are bridged and the other two are for my 6x9s. I really dont understand whats happening tbh, as i cant get it past 8 (volume) without it cutting off! Do you think I'll need another amp to run my sub alone?
Btw all my wires are all on one side of my car and I have a feeling they are touching at the terminals.

Well Ive got my sub running off two channels, so channel 1 and 2 are bridged and the other two are for my 6x9s. I really dont understand whats happening tbh, as i cant get it past 8 (volume) without it cutting off! Do you think I'll need another amp to run my sub alone?

Im pretty sure they shouldnt be bridged :S

Ive got 4 channels, they go like this:

1 & 2 = Sub
3 & 4 = 6x9's

To bridge them when I just had the amp it used to go 1 & 4 then nothing in 2 & 3.

Amp should be fine running all of them on the 4 channels, move the power cable over to the other side, mines going down the passenger side wih the remote and RCA's going down the drivers. Also tape up the terminals to make sure they wont touch at all

Hmm, could be the wiring touching then.

My amp is 800w I think, sub goes to 500w RMS, 6x9's are 90RMS(Ish)

Be sure to check the RMS rating of everything to be sure it doesnt go over the AMP's RMS.
