Annoying messenger problem

whenever i sign in my status goes to "in a call" I can change it to online, but it just defaults back whenever i sign in again.

Change it before you sign in, I think it uses that setting for the next time.

When you are signing in, make sure that the drop down menu doesn't have "in a call" selected, there is an option to choose your status before you sign in, probably that.
