Annoying windows problem

Reformatted my comp yesterday, and for some reason, the minimized windows only take up half of the task bar. Its annoying when i have loads of windows open, as they only take up half of the space and then are all squeezed together.

theres a print screen anyway, i'll take another in a sec with loads of windows open so you know what i mean.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Edit - it does this as well if im using one bar thick as well.

it IS windows xp i just use the classic theme

just noticed another thing, if i try and right click anywhere on the right hand side, the menu wont come up either... its like the whole right hand side is dead :/

What an idiot i am lol, i had language toolbar on, but for some reason it wasnt showing, turned it off now and all is good =]

You got a toolbar there?

Right click where it is task bar.. unselect "Lock the task bar"

Then click on the right hand side and see if you can close anything or something.

yeah mate, had that stupid language bar thing that, but it wasnt showing for some reason, doh, lol. About to install linux suse on a diff partition :X ever used it before?
