right im after a 172 but im getting quotes on the wrong side of 2k

any tips?

i work as bar staff, if i put waiter its a bit cheaper --- will this screw me in the arse if they check? i work in wetherspoons so we sell food aswell

i get really good quotes if i add my mates dad as a second driver thing --- also is this a bad thing to do? obviously he lives in a different address

im going to ring brentacre in the morning
so any tips really

you can add whoever you want to the insurance as a second driver

job title doesnt really change much unless you put student or prem footballer etc
doubt they would give a s**t if you said waiter or bar staff - both you serve drinks and food ....

First lesson, stop using comparison sites as they're w**k.
Second put a couple of middle aged females on, they're the best for bringing the policy price down.

Adding your mum or aunt ought to help, some places don't like it if you add blokes to the policy (it'll either stay the same or go up)

You could try Highway insurance, they come out ok for younger drivers.

Looks like a decent reduction from 19 to 20. Mines £1300 tpft at 19 with 2ncb so i'm hoping for sub £1K next year. I'm going to try a limited mileage policy of around 4000 too because i'm moving away to uni so won't be taking the car. If insurance is too much it won't be worth keeping the car.
