Some dodgy little feckers keyed my bootlid - respray required.

The same buggers did my friends 225 AND my 225 in the past too...

Anyone want to lend me a ferrari next weekend, so I can catch the buggers?

hearing all the stories, and from my car-jacking experience last week i have become really negative towards youger people, and classify them all as "that type".

Im really not the kind of person to stereotype, but from experiences, this is whats happened.

know how u feel mate, my car was up on axle stands when i was fitting my engine, and some little b*****d decided to go up both sides of the car (bearing in mind this is on a private rear access road, and my car is on the driveway)

We have CCTV up there aswell, and its sickening seeing him do it, pikey chav

Have got to get a couple of cans made up so i can fix it, as its gone down to the metal.

Hopefully ill be able to blend it enough, no harm in trying, as itll only goto the bodyshop to get fixed if all else fails.

Judging by the way some of the RS Clios are being driven around my way its not surprising so many are getting keyed.

Just seen a guy in a Cup driving in East Bristol like a complete and utter c*ck. Frankly not only will he get his car keyed but also earn a bad rep for everyone else with our cars. If that guy is anything to go by we are all going to have the totally disrespected w*nker reputation of hairdressers and BMW drivers.

That guy I saw tonight is not alone, it seems every other RS Clio I see on the roads is being driven by a n*b.

Nah what I am saying is that people see the hot hatch and think complete w*nkers drive those cars I am gonna key it. Same reason why people key BMWs far more than they do old 998cc Pug 205s.

I have seen people put my life at risk by taking pointless risks in the name of showing off (e.g. the Bentley that undertook me doing about 130 whilst I was doing 70 and indicating and starting to move into the inside lane) and been very tempted to follow them home and key their car or key their head for that matter.

Everyone here swears that they drive like an angel but as I said every RS Clio I see on an evening seems to be being driven like a complete c*ck and some of the wreckless things they do makes me want to knock them out. I am not the sort of person that would carry that out that sort of thing but many people I know would. Behaving like that will either encourage people to target an individual or just earn a bad reputation for a certain type of car that will make vandals want to attack it.

If a load of cars in the street or carpark get done over then fair enough its random chavs. If one car out of a whole street gets singled out you have to ask why.

I see plenty of that in my vts. Soon as they see me its like they have a chip on their shoulder and have to get past no mater what.

Funny really becuase people used to say this about saxo drivers.

Whenever I see a RS clio in Bristol, its nearly always being driven eratically!

Believe me, keying is not anything to do with the way you drive, if anything driving like a tw*t impresses these sort of people. If its personal its because you have a nice car, but I used to have mates that do it randomly on any car they feel like - this is what the majority of them do.

I mean most people I think would be more jealous of a 318 than a 182? Besides I cant imagine anyone keying a TVR or Caterham even though they would be dead jealous. They would key an Audi TT though even though most self respecting heterosexual males wouldnt be seen dead in one. You gotta ask what is the difference then between a TVR/Caterham and an Audi TT...

It probably says a lot that RS Clio owners think that people are jealous of their cars. I find many RS Clio owners have a hugely overinflated opinion of the car in their mind and Ive even had them trying to race my motorcycle for gods sake!!! Surely you can remember driving tales and all the BS that was spoken in there about they had done STIs and Evos etc lol. This is the same sort of attitude problem you see with Audi TT and BMW drivers and if they carry that out onto the road you can expect a lot of people to get plenty peed off with it.

I am sure most keying is done whilst drunk. In my opinion the main motive is to "teach the owner a lesson" as opposed to "you have something I cant afford so I will ruin it for you". That could be due to a personal experience with that particular owner but most likely they dont like the attitude of the people that drive that type of car in general.
