another 'my car wont start' thread

help!!

i left my car with its lights and radio on (yes i know) for about 15 minutes with the engine off.

when i came back to the car, i tried to start the car, and nothing happened. My dad came down in his car and we tried to jump start it, but the car turned over but did not start!

would 15 minutes really be enough to kill off a battery? or could it be something else, as i would of thought jump starting the car would have worked??

btw, the battery looks very old and when i first looked at the car when i bought it in january, the battery was dead and the garage just recharged it!

never dealt with battery's before, so not quite sure?

any help aprechiated, ben

When i got my DCi the battery on it was very poor and was one of the contributors of why it didnt always start..

My parents had enough of it so bought me a battery from halfrauds... the better of the two that they were sellling..

Now it starts fine and i can leave it for about 2 hours playing music if i was to go sittin in it at the beach!

get the battery charged up or buy a new one. you might have knocked out the immobiliser on your clio by jumping it.
