Another new one...

  Mk5 Ibiza Cupra
So the silver TCE is gone and I've only gone and bought myself a Twingo 133... And after a trip to Northumberland and back, a farce with a credit card and a McDonalds later, I finally have it!

As far as plans go, not going to do anything too crazy as of just now. Got some bits and pieces to transfer from the Clio including silvervisions, various other bulbs aswell as 20mm spacers to go on the rear, but apart from that, I'm just enjoying my upgrade!

It's a 2010 (60) with 5k miles, FF with the Cup chassis (the silver Clio was what I traded in...)

Not the best pictures ATM but more/better ones to come, hopefully if the weather is kind to me on Sunday I can give it a good proper clean!

I love the look of these I just couldn't hack the lack of pace. How do you find it?

I really like the look of these and yours looks good. The lack of boot space is the only thing that puts me off.

Cheers everyone!

Well, as far as it being an upgrade to the Clio, it's awesome. I've never driven anything like a 172/182 before, but I certainly don't see anything like a lack of pace with this thing. It doesn't feel as quick off the line as the Clio did (obviously, no turbo) but mid to high revs it takes off. Feels so nimble and agile to drive too, handles brilliantly and lots of fun to drive. I too love the way it looks too and the colour is spot on IMO.

Yeah that may be a bit of an issue for some, mine is the FF model (which comes with the two individual rear seats as opposed to the bench that the Cup has) and I wouldn't even call it a boot, it's more of a kinda space behind those seats lol... Not a problem for me though personally.

Looks lovely that mate, much better looking car than you Clio you had. Whats the engine spec on these?

Looks great in the first pic, so compact and sporty!

Love the old skool intentions of these; small, revvy engine, light and great handling - No huge spec list, kerb weight and need for 200bhp turbo engine here.

They're fun to drive but nowhere near as quick as a 172. I drove one at Oulton Park 2 years ago on the Renaultsport day. I had a bog standard Twingo for a week in Lanzarote last year and thoroughly enjoyed thrashing it round the roads there.

Abo's is a Cup, mines is a FF with the Cup chassis. Abo's doesn't have the auto lights + wipers or A/C, plus mines has two individual rear seats compared to his one which just has a rear bench. You'll no doubt see it soon stuuuueyyyy!

Some better pictures as promised, got away early from uni this afternoon to come home and give it a quick clean and stick in my silvervisions on the front. Hoping to get 20mm spacers I had on the Clio on the rear on Sunday if the weather stays good...

Also needing some Autosol on that exhaust, if I can find any in my bombsite of a shed...

Love it, nice colour too. But whoever designed the fuel flap needs to be beaten to death with a baguette.

^have to agree there, it's way too far down too when filling and I'm 6'2...

Fitted my spacers today that I had on my old Clio onto the rear, 20mm FK "System B" spacers (spacer bolts onto hub with it's own bolts, then the wheels bolts onto the spacer with the original wheel bolts)
