okay this is for anyone who has a new shape clio, i have a 52 plate 1.4 16v dynamique, was checking the peddles earlier and noticed that whilst the clutch and brake are metal the accelerator is plastic? anyone else noticed this and have you been able to install alloy peddles over it?

Volvo S60 T5
The accelerator pedal is a bolt on unit from memory I think the have three 10mm bolts holding them on, they also have an electrical block connector on this unit rather than a cable. Easy to take off and yes you could put alloy pedals over the plastic pedal.
