I needed a very slim spacer (I used 3mm) on the back which surprised me for the Slipstreams. I would have thought that if anything it would have been the front calipers that caused clearance issues, but it was not the case! Spigot rings are also needed with these wheels, but they should be supplied with the wheels, and they were when I purchased mine from rarerims.

Edit - Just noticed you have a 172, I bought mine in ET45 offset. I really couldn't say if these will fit the same on yours as your standard wheel offset will be different. Someone may be able to advise though.

Edit 2 - Cheaper from rarerims.co.uk and available in ET40.

Well they have arrived. Very pleased. Got them on the car but havent got any pics as yet. It did need spacers for the rear
