Antenators part numbers

Me again,

Are the alternators all the same part? Need one for the valver. Local scrappy has a 1.4 in (phase 3) will it fit my Phase 2 valver?

Please help me save a few quid.

you need a 70 amp alternator for this car - usually a valeo or lucas type -

the part number for a brand new one is 7700817232 £198.72 o) or an exchange one from Renault is £91.78 - 7701499444.

The part number for a 1.4 is different from a valver so i wouldnt bother - call 01254 386661 http://www.specialistrenaultbreakers.co.ukwww.specialistrenaultbreakers.co.uk they have one for £40 + vat and £7 delivery.

Nice one for the info, was only saying the other day that nothing had gone wrong on the valver for a while. Will keep my gob shut in future.
