any 1 tried an enlarged throttle body?

hi, ive seen these cnc enlarged standard throttle bodies on ebay now that some guy is producing, hes taking the standard 60mm bore to 64mm, i just wondered if any1 has used them or what your thoughts r on them in terms of gains. tempted to buy one but, ive got a turbo kit for my 182 and thought it could help the flow?

Volvo used the gdi engine in the s40, they were the bain of our lifes!

Yeh and Mitsubishi's unit struggled to pass emissions lol.

We always ended up doing a lot of decoke jobs on them, heads off and all that

Yeh, Renault's version was shite. Developed a misfire/poor running and that was it. Never solved the issue as far as I'm aware.

That was what the main compliant of the gdi was, poor running and all that!
