Works well, as long as you plan to re-wax or seal after use well worth using.

Claying the whole car is more effective and just using the AG in local areas is my normal routine.

still waiting for a hot day to clay mine, if you do it whilst its cold make sure you have some hot water to warm your clay other wise it doesnt really work

It took me around 4 hours to do my Clio last week. People say this is mad but it was the very first time the car had been done since 2002 and had some very bad areas.

fair bit of time involved then :( .. prob best waiting for the summer, seems we get 5 days with out rain at best at the moment :dapprove:.. although the weather the last few weeks was great, actually had the windows down at some points

Temps should be ideal now ( Spring time anway ), hot days will be as bad as cold days. To cold the clay is hard and causes marring, two hot it streaks everwhere and becomes unworkable.

Time wise the claying stage should take an hour or so.

Definitely recommended James, though I got the impression that it removes not just tar, but literally anything else on your car such as wax or polish. You would ideally reapply these afterwards.

It helps enormously too, if your car is a lighter colour. On my previous car (using AG TR), the tar started to run like liquid liquorice and was really easy to clean up and remove. On a black car, it maybe a little more difficult to see!

Considering picking some of the AG tar remover up, how is the product applied? Do you use it in just small areas or can it be used all over before washing the car?

Cheers

You can use it on spot areas and wipe off with an MF cloth, or you can apply it to the panels after rinsing before washing and remove it as part of the wash routine.
