any body made a shield for the air fliter

The one renault supply with the standard box does a good job.

​Failing that apparently a bucket works well

That looks a bit pikey to be honest.

Have a look in the engine bay thread. A few people have made some smart ones with aluminium.

you would see more difference by fitting a decent bend and getting rid of that original one with the concertina section. There's no heat in that part of the engine bay

No the valve can stay where it is unless you manage to fit a cone filter near the fog light.

Lol. Having said that, you might aswel remove it anyway if your fitting a cone filter because it only works with the standard airbox anyway.

That car is/was GT rob's of here... Yep that was a bodge lol.

He got band for dangerous driving for 2 years, racing near a mc donalds somewhere in the midlands lost control and stuck it through a fence.:quiet: wrote off too. Last i heard he was rebuilding it?

Steer clear if it comes up for sale lol.


Back on topic, as Dan said above there is minimal if any heat over there so no need for heat shields.
