Any electrical wizz kids?

I went to buy a new stereo yesterday and was told that my steering wheel controls would be useless as soon as i do, how easy is it to re-connect the steering wheel controls after you buy a new one?

Piece of piss mate. all you need is the stalk harness adpater (sometimes called a patch lead). talk to MT AUDIO on here and they will supply you with the correct patch lead/adapter harness for your stalk buttons. its a ten-20 minute job depending on how savvy you are just plug and play. make sure you get a reasonably good headunit such as sony, kenwood, alpine etc as it makes your life easier with compatibility

oh - my stalk adapter cost me £15 and it was worth it to be able to use the stalk buttons!
