You will be able to get them to fit, you will just need to find someone to make you some brackets, they will need to be precision made as the Brembo caliper will be fixed. Dont forget to check if they will fit under your wheel (particularly offset) as the Brembo calipers are quite wide. But yes, if you get hold of brackets you will be able to get them to fit, if you havnt already purchased them though, I believe K-tec do a 4 pot conversion for the Clio 16v.

yeh

iv got them mate

i know its only a case of getting a set of brakets?

i was on the phone to ktec the otherday and they dont yet do a kit for the valver

im sure bb or some one will let me buy a set of brakets to fit the 16v as i dont know where i could get a set made!

ben, how much diffrent are they?- do u know where i could buy a set of brakets as you know everything else!

will brakets from the 4pot kit they supply fit my brembos do yous think!?

what do you mean by shimmed matE?

IM Lost now might just get rid of the kit

iv emailed ktec

they said none of their brakets will fit the brembo due to the spacing on the caliper

im wondering if i can some home adapt it using shims etc if u can tell me what they are!?!!?!

I wouldnt have thought you would have been able to adapt the K-tec (Billet) ones, the difference between the bolt holes on the caliper itself would be different.

Easiest way to describe shiming would be to say that; if you had a braket produced the caliper would need to sit dead central across the face of the disc (as it is fixed), to move the caliper out you would need to shim (space) the caliper, to move in you would need to machine the face of the bracket. Think that makes sense!

Dont give up on it though as it would look absolutely mint with a set of Brembos on it, heres one more lead for you (depends on how far you are away from the midlands). Give Aldon Automotive a call, tell them what kit you have and the fact you need brackets engineerig to fit it to the Mk1 Clio and see if they can help, there number is 01384 572553 and they are based in Brierley Hill.

im down north

quite far, im gonna take my brakets to an engineering company and tell them what i want etc

if its gonna cost sh*t loads im gonna get rid of them
