Any ideas

Im toying with the idea of buying a Williams as a second car. I,d like to get a good example get it back to original A1 condition, garage it and use the Golf or buy a cheaper car for everyday use.

In regards to insurance would I need a seperate policy for the willy or would insurers add new car and increase current policy?

Any ideas?

they may add it to your policy, each one is different. You might be better (dependent on age) going for a classic policy for it. That way you get massive savings and can do agreed value for it should the worst happen...

Im with Tesco

& they will not let me have 2 cars on one policy

I do think it varies from company to company

it may be worth looking into a policy that really restricts your mileage (ie) 5000 miles per year

kinda like the classic sar insurance Paddymph suggested
