As the title says Any Jobs going in the Detailing Business im looking for a full time job as im now a bum with a part time job (8 hours a week) and im earning peanuts which isnt good for the unhealthy hobby i have my car! im obsessed with cleaning cars dunno why but i love it...

I live in Warrington so any where local is spot on im a hard working lad

I would take Brun's advice Mikey mate, as Paul said and as I said to IanFlaherty it's not something that you can just do as a spur of the moment thing. Quite happy to teach you as and when I detail though mate.

JD its a deal, i know i cant just jump into it but was kind of thinking along the lines of someone taking me on knowing i havent done it before and being willing to train me up

Problem is if you do something wrong on a customer's car, Mikey, that company will be liable. Hence you will need to do a lot of practise on odd car parts.

Best thing I can suggest is try this; Get a panel, pref quite a large one like a bonnet that has good condition paint. Use a rough side of a sponge to gently clean it, thus putting in swirls. Then cut it back, but split it into 6 panel spots, meaning you can try different speeds, polishes, machines etc etc.

Tbh, it's a piece of piss! I had my mum DA'in my car while i went for a piss! It's just the intital outlay to enable you to do the job which is expensive!
