any pics of a blue mk2 172



None of those pics are too good. I used a DV camera. Ill take some better ones for the members section.
 


that site shows some nice pictures. i did want silver but loads of cars on the roads are silver. i think i want the dark blue now

About 98% of cars now seem to be silver!

Sometimes I have to park my cool black 172 on our high street in the middle of a line of silver cars just to break up the colour a bit.

THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! Blue would be a welcome change!
 


Apparently more blue cars are sold than any other colour. But heres my odd thinking about this. There are loads of different shades of blue, so you dont notice it so much. Where as silver is silver. It cant be another shade, or its no longer silver!!

Or am I just being odd ;)

Cheers Rob. I really should get some decent ones taken. Ill do it when I can put them in the members area.

BTW, I thought silver was the fastest colour? :D
 


I had the same problem buying mine... I actually ordered the blue one first and then changed it the next day to black!

Youd think choosing a colour would be a simple thing but it certainly isnt - or at least it wasnt for me!

I decided not to go for silver right from the start because I wanted people to be able to see the 2.0 16v badges down the side :)

I figured black would look best when polished up...the blue just always seemed to look ok.

If I were you, Id go to one of these car import places when they get a fresh order of Clio Sports in and take a look properly. The pictures never seem to show the true colours!

[Edit] Oooops its finally finished loading, there are cars at the bottom of it. Dont you just love 56k ;)

I really do like the blue and red.

No, chris... that red has a special name. When you come to order it at Renault its called "Monaco Blue".. I know it sounds odd... but it really is a red colour, honest! :)
 


Heh, i saw a Monaco blue the other day....it seemed pretty boring, and didnt stand out at all. Maybe it was just dirty, but i want something more original :oops:
 


Cheeky, he wants a red one. Keep the blue that little bit more exclusive ;)

[Edit] No car looks good dirty, especially a dark metalic blue. Ive had loads of people comment on what a nice colour mine is. Theyve never bothered with any of my previous cars.
