Any Proboards experts/admin?

Anyone on here use Proboards?

I am a member of a small forum which goes straight to a login page.

We want a "Home" page saying what we do with a link to the forum from that and want google to show this in searches, it currently goes straight to the login request.

Is there any method of doing it using the board software?

My idea was to secure www.forumname.com instead of the pro board based web address and upload a Wordpress site as the front page with a link to the forum. That means securing web address and hosting, just wondered if there was something in place already that we are not using.

Unfortunately the guys running it are even thicker than me when it comes to this shizen.

It would be easier to create a small splash page with the links on mate in my honest opinion calling it index.html and the forum software in a sub folder on the server called forum or what ever then a link to the folder on the splash page

I have beed reading about splash pages in the Proboards forum, loads of code etc, going to look into it.
