any special parts required?

after reading lots of threads on having the cambelt changed i know that there is alot of specialist tools required but i need to know if there are any other parks i need for the?

iv been to reno today and brought me a cambelt kit and a aux belt kit. do i need any seals or anything else?

thats the main thing yes, having oil and filter changed to, and pollen filter but there easy enought.

just wanted to make sure id got everything. thanks for the reply.

Hmm not sure if there are needed, but when i had mine done they replaced some bearings?

According to the Renault manual you'll need:

ESSENTIAL SPECIAL TOOLS
Mot. 799-01 Tool for immobilising pinions for
toothed timing belt
Mot. 1054 Top dead centre pin
Mot. 1368 Tool for tightening the timing pulley
Mot. 1453 Engine support tool
Mot. 1487 Tool for fitting the inlet camshaft
sealing plug
Mot. 1488 Tool for fitting the exhaust camshaft
sealing plug
Mot. 1496 Tool for setting the camshafts
Mot. 1509 Tool for immobilising the camshaft
and 1509 -01 pulleys
Mot. 1512 Tool for fitting the exhaust shafts
seal
Mot. 1517 Tool for fitting the inlet camshaft
seal

My dads mate who works in a garage and is a bit of a renault expert almost managed to do it with normal cambelt/makeshift tools, he did have to buy 1 special tool above to complete the job but Im not sure what it was. Cost the garage £50.​

Technically you only need the cam locking tool (horseshoe shaped bit) crank pin (short fat metal rod with a few threads) and a T50 bar (slightly bent piece of metal with a small Torx50 on one end)

i had been told about the tools but do i need to buy all new seals that the list of tools refer to?
 
You will need the rear cam seals for the non drive end of the cams as they will need to be removed to fit the cam timing tool.
