ive seen a couple on display, cant remember all the brand names but i know for sure, that the alpine one seemed to outshine the others in quality of picture. was a lot more pricey though! think fred and has have tv units.

I was thinking of getting jus a screen HU then buying a DVD unit...works out alot cheaper.

Not sure if you can do this tho!

Yup you can Chris has one in his, Fred did have too, but he has a unit whihc plays DVDs now too i think, Has has one that plays DVDs Hass and freds were pioneer

Alpine do a radio only fold out screen, theyre quite cheap too, being alpine it should be decent quality.

ur best bet for sensible cash at the moment is the Pioneer AVH-P6600 DVD...can pick um up for about 900quid if you push the dealer or offer to fit it urself..look up the specs its fantastic bit of kit!

hey. this was a custom job. well my friend did the panel for £20 and i go the screen on trade. thats a all in one tv,dvd,cd,cdwr,navi, touch screen. tilt. everything. well nice.

i have the pioneer 65000dvd, great unit, US models available on ebay for around £500 ish, only probs is dvd region is 1 and radio will work on vedry few UK stations. Solution is to buy a dab tuner with the money you save and install a nice chipped xbox!!!

us models dont work over here (radio and dvd codes are worng apparently)

get Pioneer or Alpine (look at the mail order companies, works out much cheaper)
