when i apply the brake the rear fog light icon on the dash will flash every time i stamp on the brakes, lights on or not, cant notice it when the rear fog's turned on.
any ideas why why this is?

Sounds like a bad earth at the rear lights. It's looking for an earth and tracking back through the fog circuit bringing on the tell tale light.

Probably a bad earth in the rear cluster. I had one where every time I used the brakes my side lights would come on. It turned out to be where one of the filaments had come loose at one end in the bulb so it was powering the lights on every time I braked.

Had this problem and it was a bad earth.

Common fault I believe.. Many reports on this all over the forum.. Clean the connections for the rear clusters.. should solve your problem
