need some info on how to remove existing springs and replace with lowering springs for 172s?

Its just like any other Clio Mk2 the rears simple jack the car. Remove the nut holid the damper on to the suspension beam. Doing this should let the spring fall out of not push the rear suspension beam down so the spring drops out. Replace with the new springs
For the front jack the car up remove the wheel undo the two nuts holding the strut to the hub and then undo the nut under the bonnet which holds the damper in place (You'll need a swan neck spanner and another spanner to hold the inside bit of the damper still whilst you turning it). Take the shock out put the spring compressors on the spring and tighten remove the top nuts etc take the spring out replace the spring and rebuilt as you took it to pieces.
