Porkie has one in his westfield, its quite good but what puts me off getting one is the cost of the sensors when you then need to put them on quite a few sets of wheels like I would need to.

the one in the link is about 165 pounds with 4 sensors......that's what triggered me.

Stack makes one that is about 1400....but that is raceworthy and batteryless

Think its this one as Im sure it looked the same as when I went out in Mikes Monster escort cosworth, but im not 100% as it wasnt exactly the main thing I was interested in, lol

You can get them for under 150 quid if you shop around I believe.

I am just put off by the fact you cant buy one with 20 sensors registered to it and it just automatically pick up the 4 it can see on the car.

Contacted TyreSure a year or more ago about if they can work with 8 sensors for track days. They came back to me saying the one they sell will only work with 4 but have plans to bring one out that will be able to take inputs from several sets of sensors...last I knew they hadnt released anything.

I guess part of the problem is that it would need to know which wheel on the car you were putting each tyre on too.
Ie if you have 10 wheels, how will it know which 4 you fit and where to.

For that reason I decided if I get one I will get one of the ones that uses valve cap ones, so you can just swap it to whatever wheels you want really easily.

I wouldnt leave them on though, as they would cost you a fortune to replace if they keep getting nicked, and anyway they are bad news long term as they rely on the valvecap seal not to leak or they can let your tyres down slowly.

Iv got them on the meg, 2 no longer work, 1 came to bits when i removed the cap and 1 still works
